Help Keep Your Student Learning Over the Summer

School will be out next week and many have asked how to help their child keep learning during the summer. A library card and frequent trips to the library is a great way to help students continue on with their progress. Allowing choice is helpful; like us, most student enjoy reading what they choose to read. The websites we use at BHE to enhance learning will be available to students over the summer as well. For K-2 this year, Lexia and RazKids are for reading; Stride Academy has both reading and math. For 3-5 this year, Lexia is for reading; ALEKS is for math; Study Island has all curriculum subjects. All students have a subscription to Big Universe, an online library. All sites and many more can be accessed by clicking this link and finding the the grade appropriate Symbaloo page. Students need to know their login information to access most sites. Ask the teacher now, if your student does not remember his or her username and password.
